Bangkok and Irish Officials Converge to Address Local Development Issues
The Governor of Bangkok is holding discussions with the Minister of State for Local Government and Planning to tackle shared urban development concerns.
The Governor of Bangkok recently convened with the Minister of State for Local Government and Planning from Ireland and their delegation to address local development issues impacting both cities.
The meeting featured a visit to the Bangkok City Model Exhibition, during which the Governor presented a souvenir to the Irish minister.
Among those present were Pornphrom Vikitsreth, Adviser to the Governor of Bangkok and Chief Sustainability Officer for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), along with executives from the Environment Department and the International Affairs Department.
The event was hosted at the Benjakitti Forest Museum Building in the Khlong Toei district.
The objective of the meeting was to promote cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two cities, tackling shared challenges in local development and urban management.
