The Johnstown Estate Launches The Forde Suites: A Premier Conference Centre

New €9 Million Venue Boosts Business Tourism with Advanced Facilities and Expands Job Opportunities in Enfield, Ireland
The Johnstown Estate, a luxurious four-star hotel and spa located in Enfield, Co Meath, has unveiled its latest contribution to the Irish conference landscape with the opening of The Forde Suites.

Situated just 30 minutes from Dublin city centre and 35 minutes from Dublin International Airport, this state-of-the-art standalone conference facility represents an impressive investment of over €9 million.

Designed to accommodate a variety of events, The Forde Suites can host up to 1,000 delegates for large conferences, offering versatile spaces for award ceremonies, trade shows, car launches, exhibitions, seminars, and team-building activities.

The new venue aims to significantly enhance business tourism in the area by creating an additional 50 jobs, adding to The Johnstown Estate's existing workforce of over 370.

The Forde Suites includes modern amenities such as bright, adaptable spaces with movable walls, high ceilings, and plush furnishings along with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private entrance.

It features The Orangery, a large floodlit reception area perfect for registration, breaks, and drinks receptions, as well as two breakout rooms and private garden spaces for team-building and leisure activities.

Equipped with cutting-edge audio-visual technology and multiple LED screens, The Forde Suites is perfectly suited for hosting live, virtual, and hybrid events seamlessly.

Attendees can enjoy a comprehensive experience with custom seasonal menus created by the hotel’s expert culinary team, led by Executive Chef Tommy Butler.

With ample accommodation options including six suites, 128 bedrooms, and 32 self-catering lodges, guests are assured a premium stay experience.

Set on 120 acres of private grounds with beautiful wooded parkland and restored walled gardens, The Johnstown Estate is also home to two renowned restaurants, an Elemis spa, a leisure centre with a pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, and two all-weather pitches, along with parking for up to 650 cars.
